Guest guest
Never under estimate the power of prayer. I want to thank everyone here who were kind enough to send prayers and positive thoughts for Chris. We went up this morning and he is looking so much better. They have dissolved the clot and gradually the fluid is leaving his lungs. Tomorrow he will be able to walk a little more which should help with the gas from the surgery. Guest guest
June, That's great news. I've been thinking about him so much. Vegas Elaine also just had a stroke, so I've had all kinds of prayers being sent Heavenward. God's ears heard all of the prayers and now things are looking better for both and Elaine. I hope continues to do well. I can remember those gas pains from when I had a tubal. Those pains were worse than my labor pains, so I really feel for Chris. Walking is what helps the most so I he can do some walking tomorrow. How are you doing? hugs, a On Aug 2, 2005, at 4:08 PM, June Dixon wrote: > Never under estimate the power of prayer. Guest guest
Wow, a, this really brings back memories of my gas pains from my tubal ligation. I didn't know that you get gas when they cut you open. It was extremely painful just to get out of bed. They finally gave me enough prune juice and stuff to have a BM, and I was fine. Sue I can remember those gas pains from when I had a tubal. Those > pains were worse than my labor pains

Guest guest
Thanks a, so sorry to hear about Elaine, the poor girl has just had so much happen to her and it seems to never end. For myself, nothing will change until I get up enough courage to get my ankle replaced or fused. Since my left knee replacement I can walk for about 10 mins before the old ankle starts with the pain, then I just have to sit down. I will be seeing Ed Keystone tomorrow along with Dr. Bykerk (my rheumy) since they need my body for a demo to a couple of residents. Good that my old body is still good for something.
