I would not give anything that caused screaming. From my research, I believe

this means the immune system is being turned on which you DO NOT want to do.

Activating the immune system can cause the body to attack its own cells/organs.

The son of my best friend had the high-pitch screams for a long time - I could barely tolerate it when I visited- I highly respect you and my friend for living with it 24/7.

It took a long time and much effort for my friend to help her son, but he is much, much better now. She had to go with an organic diet (body ecology diet style)-minus certain foods he was allergic to, certain Bach Flower Remedies, and homeopathy. Those helped the most. She also used teas like valerian, that are calming. A naturopathic doctor helped her get started on the homeopathy and bach flower remedies.

I sincerely wish you well,

Carol

Vocal stims are one thing but my son is blood curdling high pitched squealing and screaming for no reason all day long. I live with him and I'm his mother and I can't ignore them. I can't imagine how 11 2nd graders could ignore that and still learn something

Hi , a friend of mine is doing a research paper on allergies and autism. I

fully agree with her theories because they confirm my own research. Here is a

quote from " The Autoimmune Epidemic " book,

" Fairweather's most recently published papers contend that the adaptive immune

response is, in fact, 'completely controlled by what happens at that critical

initial meeting when the innate immune system reacts for the very first time to

an invader.' "

We believe that not only are allergies (autoimmune disorders) inherited, but

they are caused by the food proteins in vaccines. It is likely that the first

contact with those particular foods (in infants who are still on breast milk or

formula) are from vaccines.

I am not yet convinced, but this friend of mine believes LDN downregulates the

immune system in some way and that over time, if not exposed to the foods, the

allergies may be eliminated. It would make sense that if you need " booster "

vaccines because your immunity wore off, then there is hope of your food allergy

" immunity to that food " will wear off...of course you MUST prevent exposure for

a long period of time...in theory, *sigh*.

something. But I cant really see a difference if he does. With the exception of

being constipated a couple of days later. What does this mean? Could it mean he

just isnt as sensitive to the glutens or caseins. I'm not going to go back to

giving them to him. I was just curious as to why he doesnt react to them...

extreme gas pains with soy and sexual behavior with too many legumes (weird,

eh?). Recently, I accidently gave him wheat in drink and he was screaming,

laughing, complaining of stomach aches, pinching his fingers, and climbing on

furniture... it's as though autism returns when he has an infraction, but if

he's on the strict diet he is typical other than speech!

Oh, I forgot to mention, the book I quoted (The Autoimmune Epidemic), also

explains how allergies are cumulative. There are also other books that support

this concept. Cumulative meaning that you may not see a reaction right away,

but exposure to multiple allergens or the same allergen over time will produce

more of an effect.

My husband and I see this all the time with milk. For a long time we avoided it

because it was causing runny noses and sneezing for us, then when we tried it

again we were okay for awhile but then it built up and we were the same way

again, sneezing etc. Experiment and you will see :)
