Guest guest
, all I can remember is that after taking a lot of valium and phenergen (for nausa) when my doc realized my blood pressure was dropping he recommended adding more sodium to my diet and to stop taking diuretics. I was one of those people whose ankles turn to pumpkins in the presence of salt. I thought I would become the incredible bloated thing, but I stopped using no-salt everything and my dizziness improved substantially. But by then, the violent spells had already faded and I think they just did on their own. Hannah wanted to know how long I have been on Xyrem. Its been at least a year now, and I asked the pharmacist if I would eventually have to come off it because I would get used to it and he said their experience so far was that people found a dosage and stayed there indefinitely. And , you can fix sleep apnea with a simple breathing machine called a C-PAP. My husband has one and he is THE most finicky sleeper I know, but after one night he swore he'd never sleep without it. He actually remembers his dreams now, which used to bug him no end (that I did and he didn't). I can't fix the fact that you can't afford it through medicaid, but maybe you can get into one of those drug company programs and get it that way. You might call the program and ask. It would certainly be worth the try. Nice to hear from you too! Sheryl in Manassas, Va
