I was spending a lot of money on shoes, trying to figure out what I could actually wear. In addition to sneakers (and sometimes they even feel too heavy for my feet), I can suggest anything by Born. They are pricey, but they feel great. I often get them half price at TJ Maxx or Marshall's. Also, I have had good luck with Landsend shoes. They feel pretty good and are sturdy.
