Guest guest
My husband ended up getting his cornea scraped yesterday due to corneal erosion. He has extreme allergies, and this year has been especially bad because of all the rain. He has chronic dry eyes, and this is probably partially, if not entirely, the cause of the erosion. He has been using salves and prescription eye drops, but nothing is helping to keep his eyes moist. I was wondering if there was some kind of systemic treatment for this? This is obviously not autoimmune (other than allergies), but if there is something that helps the body produce tears other than in a drop form, could you please pass it on? Thanks,
