Subject: email with information of situation

: A manager and myself had moved to our old work building after being gone

for

: a year and 1/2. A week later we both at the same time started to become

very

: dizzy, confusion, tremors, no coordination, blurred vision, slurred

speech,

: migraines, memory loss, breathing problems, continuous fevers, chest

pains,

: muscle cramping, unexplained bruising for me and it became worse over

time.

: We got to the point of having approx. 5 " seizures " a day and could not

drive

: for 9 months. We both were finally diagnosed with complex partial seizures

: and abnormal EEG's in 2 sides of the brain. For 2 years we knew it was

: something in the building but we were constantly told the air was perfect

and

: left at that. Finally, this year I noticed exposed mold on the wallpaper

and

: window sills. There has been a very bad problem with leaking when it rains

: for years around the window sills. The windows were not repaired just some

: caulking which did not help. The windows are still leaking. After we had

: mentioned 2 times about possibly something in the air or the mold they

came

: up to sample the air and clean up the visible mold. It was covered up with

a

: spackling compound and the wallpaper glued back up. During the clean up a

lot

: of people were getting sick. We were told that the air was so clean and

: absolutely no mold in the building. Weeks later I noticed the wallpaper

was

: down. It was still covered with mold and I was told it was torn down to

" dry

: out. " Again, we became sick. We are both on medical leave now. We have

taken

: our own samples 2 different times and sent them to a lab and have before

and

: after pictures.

: The findings from the lab that we sent to: Aspergillus versicolor 100%

: count in the millions, Fusarium, Acremonium spp. I am allergic to 7 molds

now

: opposed to 3 from 2 years ago. Mine are: Fusarium, Rhizopus, Penicillum,

: Geotrichum, Alternaria, Helminthosporium, and Mucor.

: We have contacted a Qualified Toxicologist from Florida that offered to

: come up to do the inspection of work on our homes and we are shopping

around

: for Lawyers with solid experience with this issue. We are really doing our

: homework and keeping notes of everything that has happened. We are also

going

: to every specialist that has anything to do with any problems these molds

can

: cause. We need all the " expert, qualified " witnesses that we can find. We

are

: also going to attempt to get the actual lab results from the samples that

: work took. We were advised what to ask for from a toxicologist concerning

the

: test results. Work did refuse to give info on the results and said we can

: only look at it in building since it was an internal test. We are also

trying to

: see an expert toxicologist at s Hopkins and a Pulmonary Dr. there.

They

are

: both expert witnesses.

: I didn't know if you would be able to offer any assistance, as far as,

: what other steps should we look at? Do you know of any Lawyers that handle

: cases like these and what questions to ask, as far as, qualifications?

Would

: this be a long process as long as we have everything we need up front or

able

: to get right away? We are on medical leave now but are going to have to

sell

: some stock to pay ahead our mortgage to be safe. We refuse to go in the

: building again. Do you find the large Corp. want to push it out as far as

: they can with health cases like this? We live in the Hampton Roads area of

: Virginia and are having a hard time finding in state Lawyers with any

: experience with this. We do have plenty of before and after cleanup

: pictures, medical records corresponding with the time frames of being in

the

: building and our illnesses. We are also going to go to public records

: tomorrow and pull all the information on the land etc. There is a chance

the

: City knew there was a mold problem in the land prior to selling. Thanks a

: lot, JH Gooberone@...
