Guest guest
This probably isn't a helpful answer but.... For over 6 years I haven't slept in any regular pattern. It is very very rare that I sleep at night, but since I am unfit for any work and I am a widow with grown children I have no reason to let it worry me. I rarely sleep for as much as 2 hours at a time. My emails take me about 4 or 5 hours a day.. admittedly sorting out spam bumps this up. I belong to many groups. I also play online bridge and scrabble and have made many friends through those games. I talk to friends on yahoo messenger, msn and ICQ. I actually find that there are not enough hours in the day! I can truly say that for me lack of traditional sleep is no problem. I do sympathise with people in the real world! Trying to hold down a job and look after a family must be so difficult, but I did struggle with that for many years before finally being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Lymphoedema, IBS, Neuropathy and Diabetes. My husband and I both use the cpap machine for sleep apnea so we make a handsome couple from outer space. lol I usually can sleep well so I dont know what was wrong tonight or should I say this morning. Guest guest
Aloha Everyone and a BIG welcome to the new members! I don not understand why your Drs, are NOT giving you anything for sleep! They all know lack of sleep makes Fibro and CFS much worse. My PCP gave me Trazodone 50MG. Plus I know many Drs. RX Valium to seniors who have insomnia problems. Also I am lucky another Dr. gives me Xanax to calm me down on my days that make me panic. I went to a pain clinic back on the mainland it was a NONNarcotic clinic. They drove a HUGE bill up to the tune of 10,000. They were giving me injections in my hips. Without Insurance I don't know how anyone can afford these places. But I REALLY " DON'T GET IT " about not getting you into some kind of sleep pattern. Last night was a bad night for me too. Hope I rest better tonight. I did buy a tempurpedic bed. I can tell youit's the best bed I have ever slept on. You won't wake up all sore and stiff. Lay it on the line with your Drs. that you need something for sleep! Aloha to Donnie, Cats, Tommie ,Alanna. Happy Holidays to all! Love and Hugs, in Hawaii
