New biologic

Hey yall.

Went to the rheumie last th. After seeing the swelling, inflammation,

etc. & my last labs, they have decided that the remicade is no longer

effective enough and are trying to get my ins. co. to approve Enbrel.

They did give me some remicade just to try and get me out of the

flare. Chas met me there, which was pretty cool. She came in and

said, " oh, I see, yall sit in recliners and watch MOVIES while you're

doing this! " & got everybody laughing. Really brightened up the day

for us all. We went dorm shopping again, then to Old Navy, then i had

to go pick up some Bible study books a lady was giving me, then i had

to pick up dinner...i was crying by the time I got home. Can you

say, " overdid! " But we had such a good time on the ride- turned off

the radio and sang some old Acapella harmony stuff (Acapella Vocal

Band, that is.) I think I'm in a funk just from Chas leaving for

college in a couple of weeks. It'll be just little old me rattling

around that apartment. I know that God already has something for me

to do, I just need to be still and wait on Him. Hope everyone is

doing well, and not having a hard time with this weird weather-

heat/thunderstorms/more heat!

Will keep you in my prayers. I hope that you get approval soon for

the Enbrel, and you can start feeling better soon.
