Hi Sierra

I am really sorry for your doggy lose. This is a hard e-mail to address

because I may be facing the same scenario soon. My little dachshund is sixteen

years old. She pretty much sleeps all day and is partially blind but does not

appear to be in any pain or have discomfort. At night she sleeps in-between us

and

the first thing I do every morning is to make sure she is still alive. She's

so funny because she insists on being held most of the day if I'm home. We

call her the energizer doggy because she just keeps going and going, but I know

reality will hit one day.
