Guest guest
Hi Ken, I feel for you, I have noticed the humidity and heat causes my pain level to rise. I don't know if it has to do with the " drain " you feel when the humidity is so high or just aggrivation it is so hot you don't feel like doing anything. My therapist told me I have to keep moving, even when it hurts. To rest when it is at it's worst, but to still do some sort of exercise that day, even if it is going through the slow gentle range of motion exercises. It helps to put on some soft slow music, you sorta move with it. And it does help after I have stretched and went through the moves. As for being lonely, I have had that since my husband died ten years ago. My dog helps me a lot, he keeps me company and keeps me movin some times when I'd rather not. I've been lookin for local support groups, but so far have found nothing. You need to call someone when you are at your lowest. Just to hear someone else's voice sometimes. It's discouraging when every day has pain to start you off, and stays your constant companion, but deep inside of you is a strength you have never tapped until now, you can do it . Keep you in my thoughts and prayers, keep movin ____________________________________________________ Start your day with - make it your home page http://www./r/hs

Guest guest
Dear Ken, I know that I am replying to an old post, but I really do understand what you are saying. I never thought I would be in to much pain to be on the the computer, but that is truly the case. We do not usually have humidity here in central CA, but we are not only having high heat - 104 avg but also high humidity and bad air........My leg is finally healing and I am in a Camo , but by the end of the day my foot is swollen to conform to the boot......but I am able to put weight on both legs now, so that is good. I wish I could give you some help, but the best thing I have found is to keep the fans running and the shades pulled down. I put bed sheets - cottons - on my chairs and couch when it is really hot, they protect your furniture and feel real cool when you sit on them - I also put ice packs on my ankles - seems to cool my whole sore body - When my leg is more healed I will get to go in the kiddie pool with my grandson - just sitting in the water - under an umbrella seems to cool you. Drink lots of ice water. I know all of this sounds kinda silly, but it works for me. I am praying for all of us to have more pain-less days and especially you Ken. Gentle Hugs & Prayers, Carol M. in CA

Guest guest
Hi Ken, I am in NJ and the weather has been hot and humid. I too, especially by the end of the day am in such stiffness and fatigue. I understrand where you are coming from. Hang in there. It affects me as I try to play on the floor with my almost 18 month old son. I am only 34 and worry what the future will bring! Guest guest
Hi Ken! The humidity is causing me to hurt so bad also. My whole body aches. This gets so very depressing. I am in one province and all my family is in another province so they can't come visit and it do get very lonely all day. My husband works all day and I am very glad to see him when he gets home. I know exactly how you feel. I am getting so tired of watching tv or reading...I go to do some housework but the fatigue just won't allow to much to be done. I guess we all have to hang in there. hugs, Corinne Kim Armellino wrote: > Hi Ken, > I am in NJ and the weather has been hot and humid. Guest guest
Hey Ken- I am with you on all of that. The heat/humidity has me down- hten when it rains- I hurt too- I dont know what is worse! The lonelies bring on the pain even more. And when you hurt- you dont want to do anything. I can relate. I was out of work for the last 6 months and getting more and more depressed as I hurt and isolated myself. I started working last week and can feel an attitude change just by being around people-plus a paycheck sure helps! Try to call someone every day- someone who is worse off than you- it will help the lonelies and help someone else. And the more you talk to others- the better you feel. Keeping you in prayer.
