Is it okay to skip a weeks' dose of methotrexate? Has anyone done this

and had adverse reaction(s)? I'm a teacher, school starts this week,

and I don't have a minute to spare........much less a day or two to be

fighting extreme sleepiness and fatigue.

,

I am on metho injectable and I have forgotten. Nothing happened, when I

remembered I just took it. Also, before surgery I had to stop and couldn't take

it for about 6 weeks. Everything was okay. At the end of the 6 weeks the

ra flared up but that was to be expected.

Once I took it a day late because I was driving home from a trip. I

have also taken reduced doses a couple of times so I would feel good

enough for certain activities. There's a little flexibility with MTX, I

think. A nurse I know said that her rheumy told her that it's o.k. for

her to skip once in awhile. Good luck with the school

prep!
