,

You made me smile, thanks for that:) I know its not funny at all, but

we have to add humor sometimes to deal with this. I have noticed

lately I have been losing some hair. I'm sure with the Methotrexate

and Plaquenil, that is the culprit. I do take the Folic Acid to help

with these side effects. Just hang in there, Tawny

jYou're not alone in the shedding department!! I don't who sheds

more, me or my cats?!? I have to comb my hair before I take a shower

or bath, otherwise the drain will be full!! I know the methotrexate

has a lot to do with it. Bur, stress is also a big factor. Since

I've been on the injectable MTX, I have noticed that the shedding has

increased!! I may have to go buy stock in Rogain. I could be my own

best customer!! I haven't come to that yet, but I do know that my

hair has thinned....Marina

My shedding comes and goes and I too have to give my hair a good

combing before bathing or else it will clog up the drain. When my

hair starts to fall out, my thirst goes from bad to worse and my

fingernail and toenails grow like crazy actually the thirst worsening

comes first and I am always prepared for what is to follow, the

extreme hair loss. Is anyone else like this?

I'm not just shedding....I'm going bald!

It started about a month ago, and within a week I ended up with half

of my head completely hairless, or nearly so. I'm starting to figure

out a pattern, too...everytime I get a bad " mini-flare " (which are

getting progressively worse, btw), I loose more hair from around the

edge of where it is already bald. A few days before a really bad one,

I'll start losing some in a new spot. No answers as to why, yet, but

the new rheumy is looking into it.
