Guest guest
I know that mucous in your stool is a good indicator. They also have blood tests to see if it is systemic. I'm not sure about checking just for your stomach, though. My understanding is that if you suspect it, stay away from dairy, grains, sugar, etc. and take acidophilus (sp?). It will help rebalance the bacteria in your gut. Your doctor may know what to test for, as well...I'd mention it to him/her. I'll also ask my doctor tomorrow when I go in. I finished my lozenges last night, and though I don't see any white spots (at least not yet), there is a white coating on the back of my tongue with little blisters, and my throat itches something awful, so I don't think it is quite gone, yet, and I'm waiting for it to come back. Grrrrr. Add to that the fact that my steroid shot is wearing off, and I'm pretty cranky right now. > Hey there! How are you?
