Hi Friends...I had a very busy weekend...it was lovely, but I know I overdid it

in some ways...a lot of driving, and then a 90th birthday party for my sweet

Uncle...the house was crowded, so us " young'uns " : ) sat a couple hours on the

floor. Since that day, I have felt sick to my stomach, a lot of pain in my

neck, shoulders and upper back, and my hips hurt so badly during the night I am

rarely in a deep sleep, and when I do get to sleep I wake myself up moaning. My

muscles are full of painful knots/bumps. I don't have a fever, which I usually

get during a flare of RA, but there is some joint swelling, though not enough

for me to think it is a RA flare. So, I'm thinking this is a fibro flare. I

have felt so good for so long, so guess I can't complain. I've been thinking

this past weekend's activities really pushed into a full flare, though sleep has

been not good with lots of discomfort and aches all over for the past couple

weeks, so it was probably just lying low for awhile I guess.

The hips are so stiff during the day and so dang painful during the night. What

helps with this? I am considering getting the Nasa Foam bed topper...but for

now, any ideas?

This past year has been such an eye opening experience, and having just minimal

pain probably 80% of the time has been so wonderful. I don't feel depressed

right now, nor anxious...but pretty weary as the sleep has been MIA.

I also had a biopsy on a bump and it turned out to be a neurofibroma. Is there

any relationship between fms/connective tissue diseases with that?

Love & hugs to all...

Tess
