Zithromax dosage

Hi all I hope I'm the only one working this holiday and you are all

having nice picnics and such.

I have only done Zithromax dosages on adults, and this is part of the new

account. Is this written correctly? I couldn't find this dosage list in

the QLDB. " Will start the patient on Zithromax, 10 per kilo day 1 and 5 per

kilo days 2-5, 250mg/5mL. "

Hi ,

According to Monthly Prescribing Reference:

over 6 months: 10 mg/kg (max 500 mg/day) once daily for day1, then 5

mg/kg (max 250 mg/day) once daily for 4 days.

That's using oral suspension, not packets and take 1 hr before or 2

hrs after meals.
