swelling went down

Hello all.  I thought I would update you all and let you know it must have been

a minor allergic reaction.  The only that was different was I had one of

Mc's new Angus burgers with mushroom and swiss.  Now, I had that same

sandwich just 2 weeks ago with no reaction so I am going to do an elimination

type test.  I will have another sandwich and see if that does it.  I also had

some nuggets and fries so will have to do one thing at a time to be sure.

 Sometimes the NSAID I am on can cause swelling but it usually occurs around my

eyes and my ankles and feet.  Not my whole face.  

I am sorry if I caused people a lot of concern of my posting on the swelling.  I

really didn't think too much of it.

I don't remember if I updated you all on my last doctor's appointment so I will

tell you just in case (if I did....disregard this section LOL).  I saw my doc

last week, told him of the increased pain.  I asked about the MRI results and

got some good news/mediocre news.  The good news is I don't have spinal stenosis

and the neck has remained the same; however, I do have a slipped disc in my

lower back to the left, which is causing the pain/weakness in my left leg.  I

asked about injections for my neck and whether I was on the right combo of pain

meds.  He agreed and said he would like for me to go to a pain management

specialist and then I can come back to him for management of the meds.  I

already had a place in mind so I am looking forward to working with them as they

do a mind-body thing.  I see them on Wednesday so wish me luck .  they will be

able to determine if any of my bipolar meds are affecting my pain levels.
