That was wonderful that you got a three-month reprieve without meds, but it's not surprising to me that it didn't last. What meds are you on? I'm on Celebrex and Enbrel, and I can usually tell when it's time for my Enbrel injection because I start having more pain. I had been feeling better (no stiffness, inflamation and hence no pain) and so stopped medication (without consulting my doctor). But well, I started experiencing the old symptoms again after 3 months, so I went back to my old medecines. What I wanted to ask is this, when does one stop the medication? I always thought we need to take meds to stop the progression of the disease. Some people do go off their meds, when they get better, so it's up to each individual. What meds were you taking? Drug induced remission is our goal, and I'm glad you were able to achieve it.
