Tawny,

God Bless you and your family. It sounds like your stepdaughter has been

through hell. I am so sorry for that. I will pray for you all that everything

works out.

Hang in there and dont forget to take care of YOU.

lots of hugs

Thanks Sandie, she has been through so much. We just have to keep

praying that she will be with us. We tried Legal Aide, and our income

is to high, but we can't afford an attorney. Hopefully, with child

welfare investigating, they will be on our side.

Your support and prayers are so greatly appreciated, Tawny

prayers. I know that this will help my dd and s-i-law. He came

through the surgery well and is very optimistic, though in alot of

pain. He's also been on lots of medication and antibiotics long

term. They had to remove 6 inches of his small intestine, instead of

12 as origionally thought. They said it was so scarred it looked

like melted plastic. I was wondering if scar tissue in the

intestines can be reversed by this diet? It does seem unlikely.

==>Hi Val. If anything will heal scar tissue it would be the good

nature-made fats and oils, which not only heal the intestines (which

regnerates every 4 days), but they also strengthen them.

>Though, I bet doing the diet will prevent new scar tissue from

forming, right?

==>Yes that is correct.

> Bee, I will suggest my dd do all she can with your advice and

diet. It will help her pregnancy and her hubby's gut to heal. Thanks

again, everyone.

==>You're welcome Val. Take good care.

Luv, Bee

Hi Val,

I do hope you can convince him to try this diet. I have a friend who

had an ileostomy almost 2 yrs. ago. She is also a long term insulin

dependent diabetic. Her intestines (what remain) are full of scar

tissue and the doctors gave her a diagnosis of Crohn's only because

the tissue biopsies were inconclusive for anything else.

I have tried and tried to convince my friend to eat this way but she

is VERY invested in what her doctors tell her to do, so she won't

listen to me. Consequently she continues to be sick and her intestines

are still deteriorating. I'm sorry to say she'll probably die from

this and it makes me so mad. Her insides are literally " eating "

themselves up. Damn candida.
