Guest guest
Angie, I also have that problem with my feet hurting. My toes actually feel like they want to pop off. I feel best with no shoes too but when I finally get used to having sneakers with really good support ( it hurts so bad to put them on my feet but after that initial pain, my feet feel ok) I give myself foot rubs with the warmest water I can take each night. I have the water running and with the hot water and foot scrubs, it does help my feet feel a bit better. I also have this heating pad type thing( dont actually know what its called but it is a made of cloth and has these herbs inside you put it either in your freezer or microwave(for no longer than 3 minutes or you will cook yourself) it heats up really nice and i wrap it around my feet. I love that thing! I bought it at a craft fair and they actually have slippers made of that I am waiting til the next craft fair to buy them. hope these ideas help. feel better sandie

Guest guest
When I went to court, I bought me some backless shoes that were really nice, black leather. Guest guest
I had to get a pair of shoes that my AFO brace would fit into. So, I went to the Foot Solution Store. They had shoes of all sorts. everything from sneakeres to sandles and even dress shoes. I found a pair that did work for both my brace and for my foot without the brace. They are very comfortable and they made my feet hurt less. I talked my sister into going there so she could get herself a pair and they looked at her old shoes to see how she was walking and figured out what she needed. She loves her new shoes. I bought 2 pair for myself. 1 for work and the other for everyday wear. They also have custom made inserts and orthotics. I hope you find something that will help........Marina

Guest guest
Thanks for all the responses I will have to try some of them right now as I sit here my feet are absolutly throbbing I barely slept last night because they were aching. As I am sitting here I really wish I didn't have to put shoes on and be on my feet today Thanks Angie > I have a question I hope someone can help me I am having a lot of > problems with my feet hurting. Guest guest
Angie, Have you tried the Crocs? They are made of a plastic that mold to your feet by the heat from your feet. Someone here recommended them, and I told a friend about them and she LOVES them. I'm going this week to check them out. My feet are very painful too and shoes are always an issue. Sneakers are the only comfortable shoe for me. I like Rockports the best. Maybe the Crocs would work for you: http://www.crocs.com/home.jsp a On Aug 8, 2005, at 5:32 PM, along302003 wrote: > I have a question I hope someone can help me I am having a lot of > problems with my feet hurting. I can't find an;y shoes that are > comfortable I am more comfortable without shoes on but I have to wear > them for work right know I have been wearing zip up shoes as I cann't > tie any my feet are very swollen I don't even zip them and I have cut > the elastic just so I can get them on If any one has any secrets on > there feet I am more then glad to listen also what are the best shoes > going to talk to rheumy on the 22nd when I see him about the pain in > the feet > > Thanks for all the help > Angie > > > > >

Guest guest
I found these moccasins, they are suede with sheepskin lining, the brand name is BearPaws. I got them at a place in Dallas called Shoe World, (next to Sam Moon, if you know Dallas)they are way cheap on brand name shoes. They are a little too warm for summer but oh my goodness! They are the comfiest shoes I have ever worn, and this is from and old Earth Shoe-Birkenstock-flipflop wearin' hippie chick! The first time I tried the bear paws on,I was prom shopping with The Princess. They did not match what I was wearing, like i CARED! I put them on in the store and wore them out. My feet were practically whimpering in joy. Honey, we were good for five more stores and lunch! Guest guest
I have custom arch supports from the podiatrist. Sturdy, supportive shoes work best for me--easier to find fall/winter shoes that fit this description than sandals, though Birkenstocks are pretty good. No results, yet I wear good quality running shoes, and Burkenstocks Help but the pain is always there and my three middle toes on each foot swell can be painful. Try to rest them as much as you can.
