biopsy on my leg today told me that the funny marks on my leg look

like(?) " Kellies Sarcoma " ...does that seem right? I may be mis

spelling it....He said only people with aids, or a weakened immune

system get it, and I gatherit's some kind of bad cancer....they won't

know for sure 'till the tests are done...please, my dear sweet

family, will you pray for me? The Bible itself states that the prayer

of a righteousman(and women!) availeth much " .

Ken,

I believe what you are referring to is Kaposiâ€™s sarcoma. Cutaneous

Kaposi's sarcoma has been found in people that take corticosteroids and

other drugs that suppress the immune system. If the biopsy comes back

positive, they can freeze it off, probably the same way they did the

nodule on the bottom of your foot. Try not to freak out to much. It is

very possible that this lesion is an isolated case, hasn't spread and

can be easily treated. I hope you get the results back soon so you can

be at ease.

Heaven for you. Try to stay positive and not worry unless they tell

us for sure that we have something to worry about when the tests come

Dear Ken, dog gone it anyway !, was hoping you would

have something good happen. I wish doctors would not

think out loud when examining us, I wish they'd wait

until whatever it is they suspect is confirmed and

they have a positive diagnoses. Sometimes I think they

have conditioned themselves to remain neutral about

emotional aspect of their patients way too well!! You

got my prayers, God Bless, and wait for positive

answers before totally freaking out, if it helps it

would of freaked me out too

HI Everyone! New and old! Welcome and all the new members. You are

in the right place. I know I am. I am taking this one day at a time.

Sometimes one minute at a time. a and , thank you sooooo much

for all the great info you post!

Ken, you are in my prayers, as is all the group. a did a great job

sending you some links. Have faith. I am trusting God with all of my

problems. Easier said than done but I have no choice. No where else to

turn. I am practicing what I was taught growing up. Not that I haven't

always tried but I know that the oxycotin sure messed me up abit. I

have faith that you will be fine. Hold your head up high and count your

blessings as I have been doing between the tears. Hang in there,brother

and everyone remember.....we are not alone, eveb though it feels like

we are. This is a lonely disease, indeed. Love to you all! You are all

so special!!!!!
