Guest guest
Greetings to you all....while, I am now " worked up " about this sarcoma stuff, I realize , looking at all the return posts to me, how many great friends I have out there, and I thank each of you from the bottom of my heart! to the story****( I remembered this, upon reading, just now, about someone elses honeymoon) I really wanted to be " impressive " , so, I had made arraingements in Gatlinburg to rent a suite for our honeymoon. This place was classy, THE definition of " Eclectic " . This suite had a fireplace , gas logs in every room, a three level swimming pool in the lobby.....the kind of place where, when you order room service, the food is delivered on a wheeled table, with all the dishes covered by one of those metal domes with the small hole on top. Well. The next morning, upon arising, I asked my new wife, Tammy, to order room service, while I took a shower. By the time I got out of the shower, room service had already arrived, and there was my Lady, enjoying a big breakfast of eggs, pancakes, bacon, juice, the whole works! As I sat down, I put my finger in that hole at the top of the dome, lifted up......only to discover a couple of carrots, some lettuce, and a cucumber! I looked at Tammy and said " What's THIS all about? " You know what she SAID to me? really! ..............she looked up at me, and all she said was......... " Well, I wanted to know if you ATE like one, too! " hahahahaha! have a great evening, my sweet family, and thank you ALL for your support in these very trying times for me! I love you! ken. --------------------------------- Start your day with - make it your home page
Guest guest
Dear Ken, I'm almost certain it is Karposi's Sarcoma you have. It can be caused by aids, transfusions and it can just " occur " in some people of Eastern European descent. At least that's what we were told when the round bumps appeared on my dad's feet. His folks were from Lithuania. His foot doc sent the slides to Mayo to confirm the diagnosis and then decided nothing needed to be done. Dad died at 82 from emphesemia and he had had the sarcoma for over 5 years. It had nothing to do with his passing. I know it is common & serious in aids patients but our systems and disease are quite different. Try not to think the worst & let's wait to see while the VA docs decide what should or shouldn't be done. Hugs & Prayers, Lori from IL > Greetings to you all....while, I am now " worked up " about this sarcoma stuff, I realize , looking at all the return posts to me, how many great friends I have out there, and I thank each of you from the bottom of my heart! > to the story****( I remembered this, upon reading, just now, about someone elses honeymoon) > I really wanted to be " impressive " , so, I had made arraingements in Gatlinburg to rent a suite for our honeymoon.
