Guest guest
Last year, right before American Idol started, I found myself in a great deal of pain, unable to get out of the house much and completely depressed. One night, out of complete boredom and loneliness, I turned on the television to find a show on called " American Idol " . I had no idea what this show was, but there was this grey haired entertainer guy trying out for the show who brought a huge smile to my face. Hicks, ended up winning to become American Idol #5. I followed him all year, bought all of his albums, and two months ago, my husband told me that if I could figure out a way to get into the theater, he would get tickets to Hicks Concert on Tour. Just a few days later, I purchased a wheel chair at an estate sale. That same week-end my hubby bought Tickets to go to the Hicks Concert in Portland. Today is the day! I was so excited about going that I didn't sleep a wink last night. My legs hurt so badly that when Al got home he rubbed them the rest of the night....he's finally fallen asleep, but I haven't. I've done everything to stop the leg cramps, but just finally sat back in my chair and did a little relaxation. It didn't work great, but it worked enough that I think I can go...oh, what the heck, I would go no matter how terrible I feel. I am so excited to see sing and entertain IN PERSON! I'll tell you all more about it when I get home tomorrow! In the meantime - Go Soul Patrol (you'd only get this is you actually watched the show - hee hee!!!).
