I shared that I was happy to report that her treatment plan was right on, based on another doc's opinion. She respected me for this and we have a great relationship now. The fact that you are even concerned about this says a lot about your character and I am quite sure you will be gentle with your words (otherwise you wouldn't be concerned about this). Trust me, YOUR doctor would get a second opinion if he/she were in this position. Of course, if the treatment course isn't working, you MUST know that info and will move on. Doctors get over it. I know it is hard. Be brave, stand tall, and do what you have to do. I will be praying for you -- for courage and honesty. Be your own advocate. :-) You can do it.
