I know how hard this is and how discouraging it can be at times. You owe

yourself the very best care you can get and peace of mind. You are your

medical advocate now.

I would suggest that you get a second opinion and simply tell your doc.

That is what I did and then I want back to my rheumatolgist and explained that

I wanted to let her know to tell her that I had been so worried about my

health that I could not chance that we were not doing ALL we could for me. I

shared that I was happy to report that her treatment plan was right on, based on

another doc's opinion. She respected me for this and we have a great

relationship now.

The fact that you are even concerned about this says a lot about your

character and I am quite sure you will be gentle with your words (otherwise you

wouldn't be concerned about this). Trust me, YOUR doctor would get a second

opinion if he/she were in this position.

Of course, if the treatment course isn't working, you MUST know that info

and will move on. Doctors get over it.

I know it is hard. Be brave, stand tall, and do what you have to do. I

will be praying for you -- for courage and honesty. Be your own advocate. :-)

You can do it.

Love and Prayers,

Beth
