Guest guest
Interesting. My new rheumatologists have been doing research in this area for a long time. I believe one of them is one of the pioneers in modern antibiotic therapy research, though I understand that this has been a theory for a very long time. They have found that certain bacteria and mycoplasma are associated with autoimmune diseases. Here are a couple of links that list the bacteria, etc. http://www.thearthritiscenter.com/arthritis_info.htm#Anchor- Infections-11481 http://www.thearthritiscenter.com/arthritis_info.htm#Anchor- Infections-11481 Some interesting stuff. I'm not convinced yet that I want to go on massive amounts of antibiotics, but I'm open to anything. I'll be doing more research on it once I get a firm " new " diagnosis, which I'm hoping will be next week. > Postgraduate Medicine > April 1999 > > > " Minocycline shows promise in some patients " : > > http://www.postgradmed.com/issues/1999/04_99/alarcon.htm > > > > > Not an MD > > I'll tell you where to go! > > Mayo Clinic in Rochester > http://www.mayoclinic.org/rochester > > s Hopkins Medicine > http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org
