Guest guest
Dear Angie, I am so bumbed a snail couldn't crawl under me....but such is life with RA? At first I just thought a pulled/sprained my ankle and went to have exrays ....which showed nothing. But then I took 2 bad falls -one on the outside of the ankle so hard that I grass stained my sock (pretty hard for an adult) and heard it crack. I used to sit on the floor on my knees with my feet extented flat on top. I got up quickly and heard a loud pop, that sent me back to the floor seeing stars....then it was just one tumble and crack after another until I found my way to the Ortho. He is actually more concerned about my good leg because it has such a large lump in the bone and is showing signs of cracking, if the pain in that leg gets worse I am to call him ASAP. But school is starting, so no babysitting as of Monday and my husband is trying to move things so I do not have to hop of shuffle to get to bed or potty or washer. I am actually thinking about decorating my wheelchair??? Thank you for writing, it really helps to hear from people who have been there.
