Guest guest
Tess, It sure does sound like you over did it. I know I find it difficult to know my limits when I feel pretty good. I try to do so much in such a little amount of time, then I pay for it later!! I had one of those toppers. It was like 2inches thick or so. To tell you the truth, unless you have a decent mattress to begin with, the thinner topper won't be much good. The actuall bed, Tempurpedic, I found difficult to get out of, especially when I am flaring. I bought the sleep number bed. I got the adjustable frame so it works similar to the craftmatic bed. The adjustable bed also has built in massage!! So it's like putting a quarter in the machine!! LOL. I have had it since April, and I have to say, I have had a LOT LESS back pain. I have bone on bone from L1 down to S5 and it was killing me before I finally gave in and tested the Tempurpedic and the Sleep Number. I went with the sleep number because when I was trying to find my " sleep number " I felt my back pain go away!! They both have in home trials. They also have them at different shops, like Waterbed's N Stuff. I found shops in the mall for both of them as well. WOW!! 80% of the time with no pain, huh? That's fantastic!! Now, you just need to get some sleep!! I hope you get to feeling better soon...Marina

Guest guest
Sorry you're flaring Tess. It's great to be able to have fun, but not so great that we have to pay such a price after. I hope it doesn't last. I have a topper and I love it. I paid $79.99 for a king size and it's the best money I've spent. When we moved, we bought a new pillow top mattress and I thought I wouldn't need it, but I still put that topper on. I'm looking for articles on Neurofibromas, but all I am finding is a small mention of a case report of 2 woman with RA that were diagnosed the a Neurofibroma. I'm still looking. a On Aug 16, 2005, at 2:01 PM, Grammi B wrote: > Hi Friends...I had a very busy weekend...it was lovely, but I know I > overdid it in some ways...a lot of driving, and then a 90th birthday > party for my sweet Uncle...the house was crowded, so us " young'uns " : > ) sat a couple hours on the floor. Since that day, I have felt sick > to my stomach, a lot of pain in my neck, shoulders and upper back, and > my hips hurt so badly during the night I am rarely in a deep sleep, > and when I do get to sleep I wake myself up moaning.
