Wow, I'm so sorry about your daughters experience. Is there anyway she can

get a new job or what about going to personnel and filing a harassment complaint

because that is exactly what that guy is doing. He needs to realize that he

is the problem and not your daughter.

The shacking and difficulty breathing does sound alot like an anxiety

attack. The following symptoms of panic attacks and/or anxiety are from just one

web-site.

Panic attacks and/or anxiety may include

Electric current thru body

Breathing difficulties

Excessive perspiration

Rush of energy thru body

Hyperventilation

Sweating hands 

Tingling feeling thru body 

Tightening of the throat

Giddiness / Light-headedness

That sounds like a panit attack to me. I shake uncontrolably when I have an

attack and I cant focus and things get fuzzy and my chest is tight. She might

just have situational anxiety, such as tests, being in public, parties, etc.

Have her talk to her Dr. They can prescribe a very small dose for her to take,

before she goes and does these events that will help calm her, I hope she gets

to feeling better, it is so hard to deal with if it is ALL the time. If that is

the case she may need to be on a dose to prevent it from happening. I take

klonopins, .5 3 x's a day. This helps keep me calm and doesnt make me sleepy

like xanax and ativan will. My experience with buspar was it made me nauseaus

at first. Just some information for you. She needs to talk to the dr to be

sure what she is feeling is anxiety or hypertension.

important test. Well the school couldn't be nicer and she can take the

test, just has to be set up. My son and I went down and got her. On a

positive note showed us a better way to come home that she is

very happy with. Seems the way she was coming there was all kinds of

construction and it took much longer. Plus with the construction there

is flashing light. Flashing lights are very bad for anyone with a

seizure condition.

Does anyone know if shaking, things getting hazy and lightness in the

Hi Cortnee,

Yes it was an anxiety attack, I talked with her doctor. She will see him

tomorrow. I think if we could just get past this she would be fine. I really

believe it is more her job that is bothering her, or better yet her little boss.

He is younger than her. When he wants her, he doesn't even call her name. He

just bangs on the wall for her to come. I would seriously like to meet up with

him.

Hi ,

We just home from the doctors. He reassured her that it was a panic attack.

He also said he felt the school lost control of the situation not Laurie. She

just wanted to sit there and wait it out but they wouldn't let her. If it

happens again she is to have the school call him and he will take care of

things. He also recommend getting another job. Which is always easier said

than done. He did give her a note

stating that she was under his care on Friday and could not work. So I hope

all will be okay. What a time of it. I hoped she will be all right now. Guess

we wait and see.

How are you doing? Guess the kids are getting ready to go back to school.

I'm glad Laurie saw the doctor, Lynn. He sounds like he is on the ball.

I'll pray that she finds a new job soon and that she doesn't have any more

panic attacks.

I just dropped my oldest son off at college yesterday. I thought I would be

able to stop myself from crying, but I was wrong.

Now two are in college and only is home now. He doesn't go until

Thursday.
