Guest guest
Hi again guys and gals, I am so embarrassed to ask, but has anyone had a problem with severe diarrhea with Humira or ULtram?? I seem to be getting worse everyday and I am now quite weak. I am not sure what is going on. I think it is the Humira, but it could be the Ultram as they are the only two new drugs I am on. The Ultram says it can cause constipation though. I could not find anything about diarrhea in the literature with my Humira. Help please if anyone has had this experience as it is getting really out of hand and I am not sure if I need to call the rheumy's office or what. I am having difficulty leaving the house again when I was just finally feeling better because of the " back door trots " as my mom used to say. LOL Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Not too many potty jokes please! I do have a little pride left, not much but a little. My pride seemed to go out the window quite a bit when I got the RA and have had to have so much help at times as I am sure you all know very well. Thanks again. Tracie in Maine P.S. Ken I am looking for a hat. Did not like the ones I saw today though. I want it to be special! )
Guest guest
Tracie, You could call your pharmicist first to ask, and your doc. You could be losing alot of nutrients and can't let it go on for to long as you said your already weak. Guest guest
Try eating some yogurt every day to see if it will counteract the diarrhea. It certainly did the trick for me when one of my diabetes meds caused severe diarrhea.
