Guest guest
Dear Sandie, It is definitely NOT demanding (or if it is, it's a good kind) to ask questions about the medications you are prescribed. I nearly died a little over a year ago from medications that a pain doc prescribed, in an effort to MAKE me lose weight (which he thought was my main problem). He overprescribed Wellbutrin, and I started having seizures. I called the pharmacy, and they said it was an appropriate, though high, dosage. My husband called our neurologist, and he said it was about 3 times higher than what I should have been taking! Needless to say, that pain doc is now history--matter of fact, the local medical profession ran him out of town due to similar problems. I agree that it is best to be well-informed and find out exactly WHY they are prescribing something, and what you can expect. Judi
