Guest guest
Yes Lona Sure hope your liver readings go down.... Sporandex is very similiar with adverse reactions to the liver and should be monitored, especially if taken for over a month. There were 3 cases of reversible idiosyncratic hepatitis (liver), and 1 patient who died, 3 cases of life threatening dysrhythmias, and 1 death of sporandex taken with Terfenadine (Seldane). BIG BIG BLACK BOX/ AGAIN... Do not take it with Nizoral, (ketoconazole) or Astemizole (Hismanal), Seldane and Hismanal are antihistamines and these can be a deadly combination. do not take it with any of the other azoles either... It should only be taken after a full meal, as you need stomach acid. Be careful of cola drinks as absorption can be increased up to 128% faster. Severe hypoglycemia has been reported when taking Sporandex and hypoglycemic agents. If so, one should monitor the blood glucose levels. Adverse side effects not as bad as the others, biggest one was 10% for gastro intestinal disorders, and 5 % for nausea. Dee~
