Hi ,

We have a 5-year old grandson and his siblings, 2-year old triplets

(boy-boy-girl). When our grandson was staying with us while his mom

was in the hospital waiting for the triplets, he freaked out at night,

even with the night light. So we gave him a small flashlight (the kind

that doesn't come apart) and taught him how to turn it on and off.

That did the trick, no more sleep problems. Oh sure, we had to buy

batteries when he'd forget to turn it off, but it was worth it. So far

the triplets are good sleepers, they're just early risers!

Can't help much with the dog--we used to have a Siberian Husky who

would NOT stay in the house, but if we left him in the yard (which was

fenced) he would dig under the fence and terrorize the neighbors. He

was really very gentle, he just looked fierce. One night about 11 PM,

we got a phone call from our Greek neighbors saying our dog was in

their yard and wouldn't let their son in the house. I had to go and

get him, and do you think he would come back under the fence? Oh no,

Mr. S. had to lift him OVER the fence to me, and then I chained him to

the clothes line pole. An hour later we heard howling, and he had gone

back under the fence, and was at the end of his chain. Argh! We gave

him to a friend, and he was a changed dog, never ever tried to escape

's yard. We now have a cat.

Peace,

Judi
