Guest guest
Kaitee also has to take the synthoid, she also has the weight issues but exercise and healthy eating is the solution there. The waiting is hard, I know, but either way she is still the same child. We did not know until was 3 (I think - it all blurs together). slept all the time as a baby. She was such a wonderful baby. She was not fussy, very happy and content to sit in her chair, or your arms and be with everyone. 's thyroid does not work at all - so she was put on synthroid - not a big deal, a small pill that she has to take every morning. The only thing that it inconveniences me is that I have to give her a vitamin at night since you can not take the two together. was always small - and she is still one of the shortest in her class - but she grew 4 inches last year! Hypothyroidism is not that big of a deal - you do have to do annual (or every 6 month) blood tests to make sure the dosage is right - but simple (as long as I sit her on my lap and get a bear hug on her arms and wrap my legs around her legs). ;-) I make sure she exercises (gymnastics) so that it helps with her weight issues. She has tenancy to be short and fat - like her mother ;-( Darlene - Mom to (13) and (11) > > > Hi, > I am having such a hard time today...it's been 1 week since the genetic > testing and I just can't seem to keep myself calm....I feel like it's been > an eternity since we had the testing and it could be another 3 weeks until > we get the results!
