Guest guest
Does astrology have anything to say about our moment of conception? I'm not an astrologer but I tend to agree that the moment of conception might have more astrological significance than the birth data. However, since we can't usually be absolutely sure of that moment, probably not even with in vitro fertilization, it seems likely we can't get an accurate astrological setting for it. Add to that the varying potentials around birth, i.e., C-sections, early labor, late delivery, etc, and it would be pretty nigh impossible for this program to be absolutely accurate in determining time of conception. For that matter, C-sections, etc, can probably screw up birth charts, too, I s'pose. Then again, who's to say that babies aren't born early or late because the astrological chart at their time of birth would more accurately reflect their innate characteristics than being born "on time?" F'rinstance, twins are notoriously born early so which birth chart would be more appropriate, one based on their actual birth time/date or one based on their calculated normal birth date? Astrologers base the cht on the FIRST BREATH. We breathe in at birth n out at death. So all the puzzlements are settled by that. Period. Thisw is why it is nice not to interfere w/natural birth, so the newcomer cn 'pick its moon', but no matter what the only accurate moment we have is the first breath - it separates the infant fr the mother n there it IS! Hope this settles the matter bec one can speculate ad infinitum. Identical twins might theoretically breathe in w/in secs of each other n share the same way of processing experience but even then one reads a book n the other goes to the drugstore - the content of exper will differ, so the individuality is preserved. love ao

I was a footling breech so that probably affected my "moon" by a few minutes as I was "pushed back in and turned around," as my mother said. However, my sister made her "moon" apparent right from the first as she was a frank breech and her "moon" was the first earthly appearance she made. Blissings, Sam The truth will set you free. Guest guest
>I know Stan thinks astrology is very important but the sheer physical dynamics of your >breech are going to have the real impact on your life I have no doubt about that. My whole gestation and birth were fraught with all sorts of maternal emotions. My dad was overseas, left about a month after my conception, and Mom once said that she just knew her husband was gonna die, her baby was gonna die and she was gonna die. Follow that with a breech presentation, congenital dislocated hip, etc, well, there's a lot to cope with. It's interesting to look back on it now, nearly 65 years later, and view it from a different perspective than pure experience. BTW, I mentioned in my post that my next sister was also a breech and that her birth date was 9/11. I was just thinking about that this morning and realized it's the reverse of my own, 11/9. Now I'll have to ponder that for a while. Blissings, Sam The truth will set you free. Guest guest
>Why not browse my book of fairy tales: Telling It Like It Is. Hi Nick, I wish I'd known about your book when I was writing my final project/thesis a couple of years ago. I referenced Alan Chinen's works and found much of interest in them. And even before I'd heard of him, I wrote in one of my papers about re-clothing the Descent of Inanna as a modern myth involving sisters (maybe twins) and the drug culture. When I was young, I didn't like fairy tales and myths because they seemed either inane or simply bewildering. I mean, praising the young woman who cunningly cheats Rumpelstiltskin out of a deal just didn't seem honest to me, that sort of thing. Now, however, symbols and myth and fairy tales have much more fascination for me. I think I might enjoy your book a great deal. Guest guest
>even the worst start can be compensated for a loving empathic home though Well, then there's the rest of the story... But not here. My birth chart has 13 squares so even given that not all of them have to be earthshaking, it's still quite interesting to me to notice that. And I've done OK. Took some hard knocks, learned a few things and now I've pretty much reached a degree of contentment that I can safely call happiness. And even when I'm not "happy," I always have joy. Losing my equanimity is much rarer now. As I mentioned recently to someone I correspond with, about painful things in the past, it was quite a revelation when I one day realized I wouldn't change any of it for anything because every one of those things made me who I am and I'm pretty pleased with that now, though 'twasn't always thus. I'm not sure I'd have given much credence to any charts and readings when I was younger and it's just plain fun and interesting to look back now and compare my chart/readings with my actual life and discover how accurate it is/was. Greg thanks Greg If the book will load and open there are lots more but the thing sometimes won't load so annoying as for 911 Bushco did it to shock the public into invading Iraq. the crucial evidence lies in the fact that the buildings were closed down and evacuated just before 911 and all security turned off that is when the demolition charges were laid No tower block has ever collapsed from fire because fire does not burn steel It has to be an inside job.
