I just read your post about being down. I'm so sorry that you are

having such a time of it and that the reality of it all is so vivid

and real! I can relate about your sis - I have a sis of sorts that

is a magnet for anything that might get her 2 seconds or attention.

It is out of control. I hardly see her anymore. If I have something -

she has it worse - if anybody has anything- you guessed it. It is

so annoying. I can't get any pain relief and she is a walking drug

addict. I'm serious, I can't handle that! The last pain script I

got 3 years ago was to give her a few to get her by. Stupid, I know -

but I lived there and I just wanted her to shut up! Now, I'm a

drug seeker and can't get even a referral for care. And to top it

off it is all my head. She thinks that as well. The way that she

treats her supposid best friend is sick!!!! Back-biting is a

constant with her and the thought that she has over 250 lortabs and

100 percoset and can get another script at the drop of a hat is an

outrage. I better just shut up!!! Anyhow, stress doesn't help the

situation at all and I can only imagine the distress of dealing with

a person who wants to be sick!!! No-one in their right mind would

want this or even wish it on another. My doc, maybe! I hope that

seeing your family goes well and turns out to be a wonderful

experience for you!!! I hope that your immediate stress tapers off

quickly and you are feeling better in no time!!!!! Take care. Kim

Kim,

Could we be related??? Our sisters are exactly alike. I am just going to try

and ignore all her nonsense on the visit. I too have such a hard time

recieving pain meds from either of my docs and feel like I have to " show " them

my

pain. If only it were that easy. When my PCP's nurse had me come in and sign

their

controlled substance paper so I couold get some lortabs I was limping(a bad

flare in my left foot) she actually looked me up and down and I wanted to

scream " see I really AM in pain " but of course bit my tongue and was nice, she

was

the one giving met the meds. It really is so frustrating.

We are leaving for our visit/vacation on Thursday. Right now I am exhausted

and have so much to do(2 babies and a 9 year old ont he plane-fun fun fun) I am

also worried that if I dont feel better soon this trip will make me sick when

I get home. I wish my foot was better so I could walk. Our airport alone is

HUGE.

oh well things could be worse.

take care
