I'm sorry that you are a woman. Yep, I said it! I find that woman are readily dismissed! Hey, mine is all my head. My head has managed to cause surgeries for menicus tear with synovial cyst and lipoma so far, 3 bulged discs, facet disease, 4 lost inches in height, disfigurement, bone spurs, chronic muscle wasting, the list goes on and on. I have honestly thought about slapping some sense into my self proclaimed mini-god. (pcp) Can you get a referral? I can't yet. I'm saving money to go over his big head. I'm trying to deal with stress and attend counseling whom seems to believe that I am being mistreated by my pcp. We shall see what arises out of that? I go to the therapy pool at the local Y.M.C.A. All you have to do is get a script from you jerk of a doc and it is free to you!!!!! You should be able to go after work? Depends on your local Y. Hopefully this will help so that you can at least try. It does help!!! You are right - tylenol just doesn't get it - hell, it doesn't even dent it! The only thing tylenol does for me is get rid of the simple headache. Outside of that - nothing! It is very frustrating dealing with pain and then to have your care provider to dismiss you and avoid the preventive care that we all so desperately need is ludicrous. Unfortunately, there are many of these non-treating docs out there. I personally think that it is criminal! According to law- it is!!!! Even if a person is a supposid drug seeker. Answer me this...what person in their right mind would not seek pain relief or at the very least try to get some of the available pain meds to address the pain? I guess I should just ask for a libotomy so I will forget that I'm in pain. Maybe I should try that route. They probably would go for that or maybe one of those surgeries under a local. I'm sorry but I'm so upset with the lack of care out there! I'll keep trying though, I guess. Last year I gave up and this year I'm trying to stay strong and rattle some cages.
