Facing the decision to have Untethering surgery or not

I have had 3 spinal surgeries including two inside the cord to remove

some spinal cord tumors at T7/8. I have been told the scar tissue

from these is causing the TC. Recently I have started to lose a lot

of function in the urinary area. I get the 50/50 talk from my Dr. It

can just scar back or you may get more complications. But, I dont

want to slowly lose things down there like I am having now. I mean

what do you do? Plus my wife has a new job offer on the other coast.

We are in Tampa, Fl. now and love it but, its a great job in

Melbourne. So who have/have not had the surgery what was your

deciding fact?

Plus anyone in the Central Fl. area do you have a GREAT Dr. you used?

I like mine but, I want the best if I can.
