Guest guest
, My thoughts and prayers are with you. I, too, lost my mother to a long, painful battle with cancer last year. Her courage and strength has been an inspiration to me as I face my own illness. My one regret is that she was alone in the early morning hours at the hosp. when she passed on. Cherish the last moments you had with your mom as she entered a more peaceful place. This poem helped me: Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glint on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the autumn rain. When you awake in the morning hush, I am the swift uplifting rush of birds circling in flight. I am the stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there. I do not sleep. Lynn-I will be praying for you and Mike, please keep us updated. Somehow he will find the strength. Michele, NJ
