, I take Lortab, not Vicodin, according to my doctor, at least.

Apparently Lortab is defined as " hydrocodone 7.5mg + acetaminophen 500mg " . I

still try to call it Vicodin, don't know the difference. Maybe it's just

a plot to confuse us more. I have found what seems to work for me. I take 1

1/2 pills at breakfast and again at about brunch time. That load helps me

for most of the rest of the day, then I need more near bedtime. It might be

nice to have a drip I can 'set and forget'.

I am on Lortab 5/500 It was like pulling teeth from my PCP to give it to me.

you would have thought I was asking for heroine or the like. I also had to

sign a controlled substance paper that basically said I would not " sell my

pills "

or take them other than prescribed. Lovely, huh? And to think before I was

diagnosed with RA I barely even took an aspirin. The lortab isnt even that

great- it eases some of the pain but doesnt take it away. My lovely Rheumy said

" I

don't give out any pain meds, I treat the RA " Nice right. I see him the

beginning of august and plan on ripping him a new one before I move on to the

last

rheumy in my insurance plan.
