Do I open the capsules and divide the 625 mgs amount into two dosages, or give a whole capsule at a time? Also, do I give this amount just once a day, in the evenings, for three or four days at a time? Or should I aim for every 8 hours dosing? (My son is 9, and weighs around 47 lbs.) Thanks! Guest guest Posted December 4, 2005 Report Share Posted December 4, 2005 My son weighs 50 lbs and I give one cap every 8 hours (you might want to work up to it). EDTA is poorly absorbed.
