Guest guest
Hi everyone. I know that some of you don't know me, but some of you might recognize my name. I'm from VA. (this is a different email that what I've used in the past) I've been in physical therapy school for the past three years. I will be graduating VERY SOON!!!! I am now trying to make a decision regarding working and I'd like your opinion - since noone in my life can relate to how my health could do a complete 180 at any time. As of right now, I am not limited at all and could work 50-60 hour work-weeks if I wanted too and I've been doing a lot of hiking and exercising (trying to get my weight back down) Here's what I'm considering: *One job I'd we working as a travelling PT, with good benefits, they'd pay for housing and my hourly salary would be higher - but I'd move every 13 weeks - pretty much wherever I'd want to. *The other job would be a unique experience where I'd have the opportunity to be in charge of and help design a Women's Sports Medicine program. The benefits are also good, the pay is less, they wouldn't pay for housing, but they do have a sign-on bonus, and possibly tuition reimbursement. Because of the qualifications that they are looking, this position may be pretty difficult to fill. I'm thinking that they may still be looking for someone in a year or so - but there is no guarantee on that of course. Some people are recommending that I work at the 2nd job that I mentioned for a year or so, then travel. The one thing that holds me back from doing that is that I could be unheahlthy in a year. I'd love to get your input. I value all of your opinions and will consider your thought when making my decision. I hope you are all having a good day!
