Guest guest
Hi , Boy the weather has all of our pain going crazy. Good attitude about the house, it isn't going anywhere and unfortunately no one is going to kick in and do it for you Sorry about that. I am lucky there as I have an Aide come 3 days a week, getting ready to be 4, she does the big cleaning, we have to try and keep the rest done. Picking up, cleaning up after ourselves. Since there are 4 adults here and one 15 yr old, it can get out of hand a bit sometimes. My oldest son and his fiancee have moved in with us until he ship off to the Navy next month, usually there are only 3 of us. So it's kind of crowded right now. Fortunately I'm not letting any of it get to me, how I'm not, I don't know, haven't really given it any thought. I just know I can't keep up with myself hardly, much less anyone else. lol What a joy to have your 2 yr old grandson to come play! I would love that. I don't have a grandchild that can come though I do have a 2 yr old granddaughter I don't get to see That hurts! But it's the way it is and I cannot change it. I'm sorry you are doing so poorly with the pain too. I've been fighting with it too for about 2 wks now, since that cold front came through. Then we've had rain on top of that. Love the cool weather, hate the pain, <sigh> can't have it all I guess. lol I hope you get to feeling better soon and then you can try and tackle your house. Just don't over do yourself when you are able to pick up, you'll just wind up back where you are now. Hugs, Tommie This thing called pain Hello All: I usually just read the posts since the groups got the hiccups. Just had to vent, and know you have all been there. Went to my regular pain mgmt dr. last week. Got treated like trash. Nurses told me he was in a rotten mood with all patients, but i still made a round trip of 200 miles to see him. We have no one near me who will prescribe pain meds for fear of getting in trouble. With the weather like it has been I have been on my heating pad, not cleaned my house much, saw my hubby just look at me, all the rest that we go through. Today I took morphine which i am prescribed and the phone started ringing. Everyone was 'shocked' that I sounded so out of it. Now my pain has eased a little, but house tore down because grandson of 2 came over and played. Maybe tomorrow will be better and I can keep everybody a little happier. I have to just take care of me sometimes and let the rest go. it will be cleaned when i am able. Love in Arkansas. Thanks for letting me vent. Guest guest
Hi No problem with you venting. That's what we are here for. I know what you mean about the house and not cleaning it. With me I'm the only one who cleans it. Dean doesn't or won't. Sometimes when my oldest son comes for a visit he will do a little spot cleaing. Otherwise it's me. If I'm in too much pain or not feeling well then the house doesn't get cleaned and I just say to myself " Oh well no big deal. When I get to it I get to it " . You have to take care of yourself first and foremost. Everything else takes a back seat so to speak.
