Guest guest
Roxanna, Welcome to the group. I am so sorry for the way you feel. I remember just a year ago before I started taking methotrexate I could hardly move in the mornings. It is a lot better now. I am also on Enbrel. But others on this board have been very helpful. They are full of info. Hope you feel better soon. Guest guest
Welcome Roxanna. I am fairly new here as well. Was just diagnosed at the beginning of this year with RA, just woke up one day and physically could not get out of bed. No prior symptoms really, which freaks me out. Was also just diagnosed with Sjogren's Syndrome just over a week ago....still learning about that. I also wake up with my hands locked or with my chin stuck on my chest....and unable to move when I first wake up. What you are describing is what I am dealing with as well. The pain is unreal, but it does ease up at times. You'll start to notice that you might go through " flares " where everything swells up/aches really badly. There are times where this lessens and you notice some relief in the pain/swelling. I am a firm believer in pain management. If the pain is somewhat under control, then you sleep better and feel better physically and psychologically. It is sometimes tricky to get the right combo of meds, but don't let that discourage you. Hang in there and hopefully things will get better soon. Take care, > Hi, > > I came across this site and joined looking for support and advice to > my recent condition I have been stressing over.
