After living off of very little money with my short-term sickness benefits through work for 4 months and then receiving NO INCOME whatsoever for the past 2 months, I finally received a call today that I have been approved for my disability insurance. It's going to be about a week or so before I see any of the money, but the fact that it's on it's way is such a relief! My benefits will only last for 2 years maximum, but if I'm still not well enough to work after that time, I will deal with that when the time comes. The amount I will be living off of is about half of what I was making while working, I atleast have a dollar amount to budget with now. I never thought I would be so happy to hear how broke I'm going to be! LOL Thanks to everyone for their support and understanding with all my stressed out posts.
