Actually, I sorta feel 'best " in heat -but it has to be DRY! I live in

Washington, where it's either raining, going to rain, or just did

rain -and I can tell you, hot or cold -humidity sucks for RA, FMS,

Osteo, etc! If it gets REAL hot here (like 95-105 degrees) I really

suffer. I feel like a limp needle, so fatigued! Of course, that might

also have to do with the fact that no one up here even HAS air

conditioning! (OK - a very few, rich people, maybe).

But last summer, I went to Las Vegas (my old ex-hometown) to visit my

sissy -and felt FABULOUS!! At 108 degrees! It's a stifling heat- but

it's DRY! And that makes all the diff for me! I know, you're probably

wondering why I don't just live there...good question; complicated

answer!

On to the next question... About the " wind " even indoors? Do you mean

windy outside, but have an adverse effect even when you are inside? OR

do you mean windy indoors -like the AC blowing on you? Actually, this

made perfect sense to me because it was a discussion I saw on another

board I belong to (MSVETS). You see, this phenomenom of being

irritated, or having neurological symptoms when air blows on you, is

actually quite COMMON to those who have MS, and because I have

neuralgias, I, too, experience a manifestation of my " Trigeminal " (on

the face-cheek) Neuralgia (pain).

I wonder if this might help?...

Love,

Sierra,

I have been very bothered by the heat lately and functioning is out

of the question. I do chores in the evening after it cools off. The

wind bothers me no more than before.

Hello there ,

You know, I think you have convinced me to move to Vegas or at least

Nevada. I keep thinking I will do better there but the one time I was

there it was 110 degrees and I was miserable when outdoors. I had not

been diagnosed at that point, but was flaring that day. I might do

better now I know what I am dealing with. The only drawback is I love

being near water, so also thought of Orlando, FL to be near the beach

or NC near the beach. Lived in CA, too expensive there. I may take a

trip out there soon to look at some rentals there (NV).

Hope all is well as can be. Take care.
