Sara,

I am the one with the frozen shoulder. I have a

daughter 11, and she is a big help to me also. She

wants to do things to help me out. Maybe try what

said and get the kids to help out around the

house. You should try some of the meds. They can work

wonders. I feel almost normal now. I take both the

Methrotrexate and Enbrel. I still get very tired but

right now I pretty much have the pain under control.

Hope this helps some. Take care.

Corinne,

I can only raise my arm to a certain height, I have to

do excercises twice a day to try to get the motion

back. It is very painful if you happen to move the

wrong way. That is where the RA has affected me the

most. It is also hard to put a shirt on. When I shower

I have to lean back to be able to wash my hair. I have

to lean forward pretty far to scratch my back. One day

at work I was trying to scratch my back one of the

ladies I work with asked me if I was hurting?

gave a couple of web sites to go to but I don't know

what they were right now. I hope this helps some. I

would probably not have surgery unless I absolutly

have to. I am sure most everyone hear says the same

thing.
