Guest guest
The only thing I've ever seen contraindicated with LDN is steriods so the Prilosec and Flonase should be okay. Is Pulmicort some type of cortizone? Peg Pickering Mit and Janie's Mom j_kalis wrote: It's that time of year again... Does anyone know if my six year old son can safely take Prilosec, Flonase, and Pulmicort along with the LDN? He's been doing the Prilosec, Pulmicort and LDN for a few weeks but now our ped. gave us a sample of the Flonase and wants us to try it atleast two weeks because he still has chronic cough and congestion, which she thinks is sinus related. I don't want him on this stuff but don't know how else to get through the next few months and keep him off antibiotics. We just had our first round of pneumonia and we don't want another one. Thanks for your input. Our ped. isn't familiar with LDN and I suppose I need to call the pharmacy and have them run a check, but any input is greatly appreciated. Guest guest
Peg, Pulmicort is an inhaled steroid. Our pediatrician said she checked it out on her little hand held computer and that it didn't show any interactions. Should I call Wellness? Is doctor McCandless around to comment on this? Again, my son has been on LDN since June and we added the inhaled Pulmicort a couple weeks ago and now we want to try Flonase for awhile to get him through the winter. Does anyone know how I can find out if these are all ok together? I think I should call Wellness and find out. Thanks, > It's that time of year again... Guest guest
I just called Wellness and they said it would be fine to take these together. I am going to take their word for it.
