I guess I'm getting used o the Arava. I did start taking it at night and

haven't had stomach problems since then. I'm also taking Prevacid OTC as I

had been doing for a while now. I am sensing that it's stopped helping me,

though. I had a couple of days that were good, but it's been downhill since

then. Or maybe it's just a long flare I'm having. I sure hope it gets

better, I'm still tired of the pain and swelling. It's kinda like Texas

weather, wait a few minutes and it'll change!

Dennis,

I am also in texas and I am curious where you are buying prevacid OTC. I

looked in my local pharmacy and all I saw was Prilosec OTC, tagament and

Zantac. I pay a co-pay for my previcid and its prescription only....unless it

was

recently released as OTC.

I just checked the Prevacid website and found no info or press release about

the change to OTC.

Good luck with the Arava. It was the first RA med I took and it worked

great for the first year with no side effects. I am starting antibiotic

therapy

for my RA on Sunday.

Sorry, Toni, spellcheck didn't even catch it. ;) The med was supposed to be

PRILOSEC OTC. At least I got the OTC right!
