Guest guest Posted June 21, 2005 Report Share Posted June 21, 2005 Hi, finally!!! I will definitely try to catch up later today. My mom finally went home, I think - yesterday. She had quite a time of it. Ended up with a pacemaker for her AV node. Should be good to go!!! She had some complications and that it what has taken so long. She has diabetes and it is giving her hell. Her gall bladder it taken a you know what. They think though that they can treat that later or on an outpatient basis. So nothing but good news there! Thank you so much for all your prayers and kind words. If that wasn't enough stress - ya know the drill...it comes down in buckets, my sister in law and neice were in a bad accident on Friday. So, needless to say that kept me busy. Still haven't got the kids yet. The stress of it all is kicking my a_ _!!!! I just came off a flare and my nerves are about at the end of their rope. I hurt my neck again riding in my honeys' pickup truck. So here we go again. Does anyone else have problems with their spine? Mine hates me!!! If I hurt it somehow then if I get upset it will swell and compress. I go see the pcp at 2:20. I had a counseling appointment yesterday that was kinda strange. They are taking my pcp seriously. They are taking the position that I may possibly being abused by lack of proper care. They are saying to the doc that they are currently treating me for a life threatening illness and that by my doc not treating me for RA is directly affecting the other. They were also going to get on him about the pain med situation or lack there of. Hopefully that will help and not further hinder my care. We shall soon see!!!! Keep your fingers crossed.
