 I think you have evry right to be gloomy and down. I won't say the words I'm

thinkimg about your husband.What the dr. did to your back sounds like a mess.

I'm having problems trying to picture it in my head. You must be in absolute

horrendous pain. I will pray for you, and hopefully the doctors can do something

right to help ease the pain you are having.

I have not been keeping up with everyone for a long while, due to the pain

swallowing me whole. It has been 4 years and nothing has changed other than the

pain has gotten worse and the meds they give well you know how that is, they

work for a few months and then they quit then the DR.s start to B______ and want

to take you off. It has become an endless song here.Pain, Depression, husband

left couldn't take it anymore, I am not the person he married. I think he isn't

much of a man to leave me, I would of stayed by his side. He has convinced my

children that I am a druggie, and that I can't think straight due to the meds.

So, they all treat me like an idiot. Then the Dr.s talked me into having the

stimulator implanted and that it would reduce my pain.

I did it, The first 3 days after surgery was hell, the pain was out of this

world, they gave me nothing to help with the pain from the surgery. 6 weeks

later I have more pain and even new pain that I did not bargain for. I have 2

inches of my spine sticking out that swells and hurts. The battery is installed

under the skin right above the butt, you can sit there and move it all around it

sticks out that far. I have 16 leads on my spine and we can only somewhat

program the lower half due to the upper ones if they use them it pounds in my

ribs, the lower ones do to but not as bad, it looks like I am going in to have

Paddles put in they are bigger and this way the nerves that are like feathers

wont be causing all this trouble. 8 more weeks. Had a appointment today weather

was bad so I will have to wait till next week to see the Doc. Maybe this time

when they have me under I just wont wake up this time, I am so tired of all

this

pain!!! Sorry to be so grimm, just had to talk to someone.

I hope everyone else is having better luck  with your pain and troubles.

I would like to say Hi to the new comers I am not always this down.
